The ADEMA Inca Campus hosted a working meeting with Aina Ferrero, director of the Museu del Calçat i de la Indústria d’Inca (Shoe and Industry Museum of Inca), to further explore new avenues of collaboration between the museum and ADEMA. Also participating in the meeting were Guillem Aloy, director of the ADEMA Inca Campus, and Mónica Galván, coordinator of the Fine Arts Degree program.
The meeting was part of the agreements signed between ADEMA and the Inca City Council to transform the Museu del Calçat (Shoe Museum) into a key space for teaching, research, and knowledge transfer in the fields of Fine Arts and Design. The objective of the meeting was to continue exploring potential agreements and joint projects that strengthen the museum’s role as an active environment for learning and cultural production.
During the meeting, various lines of work related to exhibition projects, training activities, applied research, and outreach initiatives were discussed, with particular attention to the connection between higher education, heritage, and the productive sector. The approach aims to provide students with real-world experiences in professional and cultural settings, aligned with a project-based learning model.
The director of the ADEMA Inca Campus, Guillem Aloy, highlighted the value of the Museu del Calçat (Shoe Museum) as a strategic resource for artistic and design education, emphasizing its unique character as a space where heritage, industry, and contemporary culture converge. For her part, the Fine Arts coordinator, Mónica Galván, stressed the importance of creating stable synergies that allow for the development of academic projects with a real impact on both student training and the local community.
