In recent years, endodontics has advanced remarkably thanks to new technologies, materials, and clinical protocols. This has allowed for more precise and conservative treatments, and at the same time, it has made it essential for professionals to update their knowledge to confidently handle increasingly complex cases.
In this context, the ADEMA University School will launch the EndoLearning 2026 program, an in-person advanced training course in endodontics aimed at dentists and fifth-year Dentistry students who wish to delve deeper into this specialty from a rigorous and up-to-date clinical perspective. The program will begin on January 30, 2026, and run until March 21, with a total of 75 hours of instruction distributed across five training sessions and ten workshops held at the ADEMA campus in Palma.
EndoLearning is designed as a comprehensive learning program aimed at strengthening diagnostic skills, treatment planning, and clinical execution in endodontics. The course design allows participants to fully explore all phases of endodontic treatment, from the initial case assessment to the final restoration of the treated tooth, combining up-to-date theoretical training with supervised clinical practice.

The training content covers the learning and practice of fundamental aspects such as pulp diagnosis, pulp chamber anatomy and access cavity preparation, as well as endodontic instrumentation using rotary and reciprocating systems, irrigation, and obturation of the root canal system. These modules are complemented by specific training in the use of bioceramics and the application of lasers in endodontics, incorporating tools and techniques commonly used in contemporary clinical practice.
The program also includes the treatment of more complex clinical procedures and situations, such as endodontic retreatment, reimplantation, management of curved and calcified canals, and treatment of teeth with immature apices. A specific module is also dedicated to dental traumatology, one of the areas that demands the greatest analytical and decision-making skills in the dental office.
Another key aspect of the course is the resolution of clinical issues requiring a high level of technical skill, such as the removal of broken files, metal posts, fiberglass posts, silver points, and cast cores. The program also addresses the restoration of endodontically treated teeth and crack syndrome, a complex and common diagnostic condition encountered in daily clinical practice, which demands precise assessment and an appropriate treatment plan.
Methodology

From a methodological standpoint, EndoLearning emphasizes hands-on learning with real patients, under the direct supervision of instructors. Sessions are conducted using microscope magnification, allowing for practice in precision, ergonomics, and safety during each procedure. The goal is to consolidate technical skills, strengthen clinical judgment, and improve the predictability of endodontic treatment outcomes.
The course is directed and coordinated by Dr. Jorge Domínguez Pérez, Master in Endodontics from the University of Valencia, and Dr. Thais Cristina Pereira, Master in Endodontics from the University of São Paulo and PhD from the University of Groningen. The teaching team is completed by Dr. Antonio Conde Villar, Master in Endodontics and PhD from the European University of Madrid, who collaborates in the development of the various training modules.
