ADEMA and the Teatre Principal de Inca have signed this morning a framework agreement for collaboration that will allow the development of joint projects in the artistic, cultural and educational fields.
The agreement establishes the sum of synergies between both institutions and a stable relationship to generate learning experiences based on real projects and directly linked to the performing arts.
The agreement has been signed by the president of the Board of Trustees of the Teatro Principal de Inca Foundation, Virgilio Moreno, and the president of the Board of Trustees of the ADEMA Foundation, Diego González.
During the signing, Virgilio Moreno emphasized the importance of the agreement for Inca. “This collaboration connects emerging talent with a historic cultural space that holds a strong presence among our residents and visitors. The Teatro Principal has always been dedicated to being a meeting point and a showcase for creativity. For his part, Diego González emphasized the importance of educational training for our students, given the century-old institution that this theater represents. According to ADEMA, “establishing alliances with entities like this is key to offering our students training opportunities linked to the professional world. This agreement opens doors to projects that combine design, fashion, visual arts, and performing arts, and reinforces our commitment to practical training connected to society,” explained Diego González.
The agreement will allow students and faculty from the areas of Art, Design, Fashion, Communication and Visual Creation to participate in real projects within the productions of the Teatro Principal.
The lines of collaboration include the creation of costumes and sets for shows, the development of lighting projects linked to initiatives such as the future Incandescent Festival and the promotion of interdisciplinary experiences related to the performing arts.
The agreement establishes a monitoring committee, comprised of one representative from each institution, to coordinate and evaluate the actions stemming from the agreement. With an initial term of four years, renewable, this partnership strengthens the connection between the academic and cultural spheres and opens new opportunities for practical learning and professional integration for ADEMA students. Both institutions agree that this collaboration will have a positive impact on the artistic and social development of Inca and Mallorca as a whole.
