ADEMA University School builds bridges with the Arctic University (UiT) of Norway to promote academic and scientific exchange in the Degree in Dentistry. - Escuela Universitaria ADEMA

The Head of International Relations of ADEMA University School, Professor Jorge Domínguez, has visited the University of Arctic (UiT) of Norway in Tromsø. The visit, made in the framework of the Endodontics symposium, was organized to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the founding of the prestigious institution and, at the same time, to promote academic and scientific exchange between the two universities.

Professor Jorge Dominguez met with the head of the Dental Institute, Prof. Mohammed Al-Haroni, and the coordinator of the Institute of Dental Sciences (IKO), Prof. Thomas Carlenhult, who conducted a detailed guided tour of the facilities of the university center, highlighting the areas of research and advanced technology in dentistry and exchanged views on the educational methodologies used by both institutions. This experience allowed them to see first hand the excellence and level of innovation of the facilities, and reinforced the mutual interest in establishing future academic and scientific collaboration agreements.

ADEMA considers this meeting as a key step in its commitment to internationalization, and adds synergies to collaborate with the UiT in joint training and research projects.

The Head of International Relations of the University School ADEMA, Professor Jorge Domínguez, has positively valued this visit, which is the first step towards the signing of a collaboration agreement: “Soon we will give shape to all the projects and agreements that we have discussed during this visit, moving towards a collaboration that we are sure will benefit both institutions and the scientific community of dentistry”.

This visit reaffirms ADEMA’s commitment to seek strategic international partnerships for development and innovation in dental education.
