This morning, the ADEMA University School inaugurated the expansion and technological transformation of the Integrated University Dentistry Clinic, a project that reinforces its dual commitment to educational excellence, applied research, and improving the oral health of the Mallorcan population.
The event, attended by the Regional Minister of Health, Manuela García, highlighted ADEMA’s commitment to integrating technological innovation, university education, and social action within the educational model based on service-learning projects.
With this renovation, in the words of ADEMA President Diego González, “we reinforce our commitment to quality education and healthcare, providing our students and faculty with a learning environment featuring cutting-edge dental technology.”
For her part, the Regional Minister of Health, Manuela García, emphasized the “important role played by ADEMA as a university institution committed to quality education, which is now reinforced by the implementation of cutting-edge dental technology, scientific research to improve patient care, and the construction of a more equitable society in which oral health is understood as a universal and accessible right.”
The University Clinic has more than 1,000 square meters dedicated to clinical spaces, including 45 operating rooms equipped with digital technology and 3D systems, including CT-CBCT, intraoral scanners, dental lasers, digital periodontal probes, 3D printers, and digital microscopes. In addition, ADEMA offers haptic and holographic virtual dental simulators that allow students to practice clinical practice in immersive environments before seeing real patients.
The acquisition of dental chairs and complementary equipment from the German firm KAVO, an international leader in the sector, allows us to offer patients a service of maximum precision, comfort, and safety. The new equipment incorporates ergonomic designs, high-intensity LED lighting, automated hygiene systems, and versatile configurations that replicate the conditions found in the most advanced clinics.
The latest generation KAVO ESTÉTICA E30 models, with an integrated surgical system and contactless control, provide added safety in Oral Surgery and Implantology. The compact KAVO AMIQA units, meanwhile, offer an ergonomic position for extended treatments, with silent suction systems and automatic disinfection.

This way, students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry and postgraduate programs can complete their internships in an environment that is completely comparable to professional practice. “The new equipment represents a major leap in quality for our university clinic. Students are trained in a high-tech environment, which improves their preparation and guarantees more comfortable and safer care for patients,” emphasized Diego González, president of ADEMA.
For his part, the director of the Integrated University Dentistry Clinic, Professor Hernán Paublini, emphasized that “students not only acquire clinical skills, but also human and ethical values. They participate in care programs for people referred by social services and nonprofit organizations, where each treatment becomes a learning and solidarity experience.”
The ADEMA University School, through its ADEMA+ Foundation, maintains agreements with more than 30 social organizations and with the Social Welfare departments of the municipalities of the Mancomunitat del Pla and Palma. Thanks to this network, more than 2,000 people in vulnerable situations benefited from its assistance programs last year, which offer root canal treatments, fillings, prosthetics, teeth cleaning, comprehensive checkups, and pediatric dental care, among others.
The President of the Board of Trustees, Diego González, stated that “university education must be linked to social commitment. At ADEMA, teaching is understood as a service to society. Our students learn to work as a team, to communicate, to care, and to understand the impact of their profession.” Finally, he added that “training, research, and collaboration with international universities must be ongoing to offer the most up-to-date methods and technologies suited to the needs of patients.”
