>> ADEMA students and teaching staff will travel to Poland on March 15 to attend the opening of the second international exhibition in which the educational center has participated this year at one of the best international universities in graphic art.
Students of the Bachelor of Fine Arts from the ADEMA University School have been selected to participate in a collective exhibition at one of the best international universities in contemporary graphic art, the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland. The opening will take place on March 15, 2025, and the exhibition will remain open until March 21.
According to the teacher, Catalina Bauzà, the students have worked in various engraving techniques, including linocut, drypoint, etching, woodcut and monotypes, among others, addressing multiple themes such as self-portraits, landscapes, knots, connections and personal themes that they project during their final year projects. “A rich proposal that aims to highlight both traditional graphic language and the different applications with new technologies, highlighting its technical richness and versatility,” she added.
The selection of the works was carried out by the Head of Studies of the Degree in Fine Arts, Amparo Sard, and the teacher Catalina Bauzà, who have chosen the best works to represent ADEMA in this international exhibition.

For the Head of Studies of the Degree in Fine Arts, Amparo Sard, “it is a great opportunity to participate in this exhibition, an example of the work and commitment that ADEMA is making to internationalisation and the addition of synergies with the best universities on the international scene. The Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, founded in 1945, is one of the most important art institutions in Poland, recognised internationally for its excellence in artistic training in disciplines such as painting, sculpture, graphic design and multimedia”.
ADEMA students and teachers will travel to Poland to attend the opening next March and participate in an educational exchange with their Polish counterparts, strengthening the ties between both institutions. For Amparo Sard, the selected pieces “are the result of good collective work that demonstrates the importance of integrating different creative techniques in the early stages of learning and training in Fine Arts, from engraving with traditional techniques to the application of new technologies, promoting international projects in which the binomial of original thought and innovation prevail.”
On the other hand, it is worth highlighting that the exhibition is not only a challenge for the students of the Fine Arts Degree at the ADEMA University School, in collaboration with one of the most important university institutions on the international scene; but also an opportunity to discover the richness and diversity of graphic art.
This exhibition represents the second international exhibition in which ADEMA students have participated during the 2024-2025 academic year, after having exhibited at Chelsea College of Arts in London in November 2024.
This initiative is part of the strategic lines of the ADEMA University School, to promote internationalization and educational exchange with academic institutions and professionals of reference in the field of art and design.
