The works of ADEMA students took center stage at Horabauxa Incandescent 2025, the artistic event held this afternoon at the Teatre Principal d’Inca, as part of the new Horabauxa format of the Incandescent Festival. The event focuses on contemporary creation linked to light, visual arts, and electronic music, with a central role played by students from ADEMA’s university campus in Inca.
Through this initiative, ADEMA reinforces its role as a cultural and educational agent in the municipality, fostering connections between university education, artistic experimentation, and public space. The event has allowed the public to see projects developed within the academic sphere, specifically designed for exhibition in a professional context open to the community.
The project spearheaded by ADEMA has transformed the various spaces of the Teatre Principal d’Inca through light, audiovisual, and digital installations, creating an immersive experience that engages with the theater’s architecture and contemporary artistic practices. These interventions are complemented by live electronic music and visual performances, integrated into the overall event experience.
ADEMA’s participation is structured across three spaces within the theater. In the Annex Room, a selection of audiovisual works and performances created by ADEMA students are presented, alongside works that participated in the recent University Biennial, including installations, video, performance, and experimental proposals, as well as pieces from collaborating universities.
In the theater lobby, visitors can explore an exhibition of lighting objects designed and produced by students of the Product Design Degree program at ADEMA’s Higher Artistic Education program. Created specifically for Horabauxa Incandescent, the exhibition showcases the students’ emerging talent, technical mastery, and exploration of light as an expressive material within the field of contemporary design.
The Multipurpose Room will host a generative light installation that combines traditional works with 3D animation works made by second and fourth year students of the Bachelor of Fine Arts at the ADEMA University School, demonstrating the integration of artistic languages, technology and training processes.
