The University of Mallorca (UMAC-ADEMA) and the Confederation of Business Associations of Education Centers of the Balearic Islands (CECEIB) have signed a framework collaboration agreement with the aim of strengthening university orientation and facilitating access to higher education for students from their associated centers.
The agreement establishes a stable framework for cooperation between the institutions and will enable the joint development of various initiatives related to guidance, educational innovation, and academic promotion. These include university orientation events, conferences and seminars, participation in education fairs, open days, university campus visits, and training programs for teaching staff and leadership teams.
One of the agreement’s key pillars is the launch of the UMAC-CECEIB Preferred Program, which will establish a dedicated channel for students from schools associated with CECEIB. This program will include personalized guidance, support throughout the admission process, priority handling of inquiries, and preferential access to orientation activities, Open Days, and campus visits.
The agreement also includes financial benefits for new students coming from centers associated with CECEIB. These include a 10% scholarship on the cost of the first year of official degree programs offered by the Universitat de Mallorca, as well as for specific programs and qualifications from Fundación ADEMA+ and ADEMA University School, subject to the conditions set out in the agreement’s annex.
Through this collaboration, UMAC and CECEIB reinforce their commitment to student guidance and to fostering closer ties between educational institutions and the university, providing prospective students with information, support, and new opportunities as they transition to higher education. The agreement has an initial term of four years, renewable by mutual agreement between the parties.
