The Bachelor in Dentistry from the ADEMA-UIB University School is eminently practical, including in its planning a high percentage of practical curricular and extracurricular activities.

In the final year of the Bachelor in Dentistry, students undergo supervised internships in real clinics, with a total of 750 hours of activity in which they acquire the skills required by the dentist profession and prepare for professional practice in different areas, in activities aimed at caring for and improving the oral health of individuals or groups, in accordance with the basic principles of prevention and public health.

The ADEMA University School, in addition to having an Integrated Clinic with modern spaces equipped with the latest technology, where all the practical sessions for this bachelor are scheduled, has agreements with more than 25 clinics that provide oral health care in the Balearic Islands, which allows us a wide range of organisation to carry out these practical sessions in external facilities.

The External Practical subjects are those that the students will have to do in order to obtain the bachelor. These can be carried out in the center’s own integrated dental clinic (ADEMA) or in public and/or private companies and institutions, with which the ADEMA University School (USA) has established practice agreements. These practices are mandatory and constitute a total of 10% of the credits required for the Bachelor in Dentistry (30 credits), which will be taken in the fifth year.
To be able to carry out these practices, the students will have to have passed the subjects of modules I – II – III – IV.
