For Dr. Pere Riutord, “finding young people like those who were there, and in particular, Antoni Ramón, who has achieved with so much dedication, enthusiasm and perseverance such a brilliant goal, is very motivating for our team of teachers. Antoni has started his professional career full of illusion and expectations marked by his vocation and his desire to continue training and learning with professionalism and ethics”.
For his part, the alumni Antoni Ramon, who is currently working in a dental clinic in Palma, thanked all the organizers for this award and also congratulated the rest of his colleagues from other faculties in Spain. “I am very happy with this award, because after an effort always comes the reward, and in my particular case, I would not have imagined it, but it has been many hours of dedication and, above all, passion for what I like”.

The event, which took place in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Dentistry of the Complutense University of Madrid, was chaired by the president of the CRADO of Spain, Dr. Lluís Giner and the highest representative of FENIN, Luis M. Garralda. The event was sponsored by Dr. José Carlos de la Macorra, Professor of Dentistry at the Complutense University of Madrid and former president of the CRADO.
The president of the Conference of Deans of Dentistry of Spain, Dr. Lluís Giner, congratulated the student for his excellent work and encouraged him to “promote prevention and encourage it from the dental offices. We are important players in the oral and general health of our patients and we can do a lot of good for society. We can do a lot of good for people’s health, since we are in the front line of care”.
During his speech, Dr. José Carlos de la Macorra, sponsor of the graduating class, emphasized the commitment to patients and how to continue learning with each one of them. “Your patients should be the focus of your efforts. You have made an enormous effort to improve their health, and it is to be hoped that you will fulfill your commitment, that you will repay your debt to society”. He added that “each patient has a specific expression of their pathology. They require an individual approach and specific treatment. Close and attentive observation of each patient will make us see things we had not seen before”.

Industry commitment
For his part, the president of FENIN’s dental sector, Luis M. Garralda, pointed to the collaboration between academia and business. “The academic and business worlds have to go hand in hand. Dentistry is a field in constant evolution, where updating and learning will be key to your professional success. The success achieved in your academic preparation shows the commitment to excellence, which is the cornerstone for building the healthcare of the future.”
Finally, the alumni Antoni Ramon has shown his satisfaction of being able to study in a center like the University School ADEMA in which “all the students of the promotion have been like a family. Being a small group, the treatment is very close, familiar and you can work side by side with everyone, both classmates and teachers. Its innovative educational methodology and all the cutting-edge technology in the sector has been an important pillar for my training.
